Good luck with that whole packing thing. I understand how much it sucks. Aside from space you can never bring too much I think, esp because you're so near home. I wish I was.
Yay for knowing your roommates. Mine are great except for the fact that one is definitely highly christian and homophobic, she's entirely friendly and awesome, but bring up possible gayness (as a friend of mine did while we were discussing DC comics) and her reaction is "ew that's gross" and utter consternation that two people of the same gender could be in a relationship. Um, yeah. Possibly this year could get highly awkward.
Twas lovely talking on the phone with you the other day. BTW there's a three hour time difference, we're ahead of you, just so you remember when you want to call at midnight, it's actually three am but I do love to hear from you so, yay! And hopefully your internet will be snazzy and livejournal friendly right from the start.
