Damn, I love rock and roll.
My headphones broke the other day, so I bought some new, much nicer ones. As it turns out, I can fix the old ones-I took them apart out of curiosity, and I just need a few minutes with a soldering iron-but the new ones are awesome.
Currently I'm listening to AC/DC. And the song "Hell's Bells". Hot damn I love this.
There's just something about rock and roll that nothing else can possibly measure up to. When the singers are screaming and the guitar is wailing and the drummer's going a million miles a second and the bass threads through everything and ties it together-the only thing I love as much is really hardcore awesome classical music. For some reason the best of Beethoven and the best of rock and roll hit many of the same buttons in my soul. It's like it sets my brain on fire and all I want to do is rock the hell out.
tl;dr-I LOVE MY NEW HEADPHONES.
(edit: okay, so right after I was totally rocking out to "Hell's Bells" the next song was "Dancing Queen". Dancing Queen. -facepalm- There are times when shuffle is a very bad thing.)
(edit II: I love my new default icon. :D I'm on a boat!)
